Overview

The Center for Violence Prevention and Self Defense is dedicated to stopping violence through education and empowerment. We provide essential skills to at-risk individuals of all ages, fostering a community where everyone can live freely and powerfully.

Summary

We are seeking an Instructor to join our team in Freehold NJ. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering self-defense training and educational seminars that empower individuals to prevent violence. This position is vital in helping us achieve our mission of creating safer communities.
Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging self-defense training sessions.
Conduct educational seminars on violence prevention.
Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Foster a supportive learning environment for all participants.
Collaborate with community partners to expand outreach efforts.
Stay updated on best practices in self-defense techniques.
Encourage personal growth and confidence among students.
Maintain a safe training environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in teaching or instructing, particularly in self defense.
Strong knowledge of self defense disciplines.
Experience working with diverse student populations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
Passion for empowering individuals through education.
Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
