CVPSD Announces Formation of Advisory Board to Advance Trauma-Informed Care and Staff-Centered Safety

Freehold, NJ July 17- CVPSD is proud to announce the formation of its inaugural Advisory Board, a strategic initiative that reinforces the organization's commitment to creating safer, healthier, and more effective environments for both the individuals it serves and the professionals who provide that care.

The Advisory Board has been established to provide strategic guidance, foster innovation, and support the continued development of best practices that place equal emphasis on trauma-informed care and staff-centered safety. This integrated philosophy recognizes that exceptional care begins with a workforce that feels supported, protected, and empowered.

At the heart of CVPSD's approach is the understanding that trauma-informed care extends beyond interactions with clients or patients. It also requires organizations to acknowledge the emotional, psychological, and physical demands placed on staff. By intentionally combining trauma-informed principles with comprehensive staff safety strategies, CVPSD seeks to cultivate environments where compassion and safety reinforce one another, leading to better outcomes for everyone involved.

The Advisory Board will provide expertise and recommendations on organizational strategy, workforce well-being, safety initiatives, program development, and emerging practices that strengthen resilient organizations. Its work will help ensure that CVPSD remains at the forefront of developing models that support both those receiving services and those delivering them.

"Organizations achieve their greatest impact when they care for the people providing care as intentionally as they care for those receiving it," said a CVPSD spokesperson. "The creation of this Advisory Board reflects our belief that trauma-informed care and staff-centered safety are not separate priorities hey are complementary pillars of a healthy, high-performing organization."

As CVPSD continues to grow, the Advisory Board will serve as a collaborative resource, helping shape policies, initiatives, and partnerships that reflect the organization's mission and values. The Board's guidance will support continuous improvement while promoting a culture of respect, resilience, accountability, and psychological safety.

CVPSD looks forward to sharing additional information about the Advisory Board's work, future initiatives, and opportunities for collaboration in the coming months.
