TEXAS - The Center for Violence Prevention and Self-Defense (CVPSD) is proud to announce an upcoming virtual training program developed exclusively for educators at The Goddard School in Texas. The session, titled ConflictIQ™ for Early Childhood Classrooms: Practical Tools for Managing Challenging Behavior, delivers actionable strategies rooted in conflict management, situational awareness, and behavioral de-escalation adapted specifically for preschool environments.

About the Training
This 60-minute virtual session is designed with teacher empowerment at its core. Unlike traditional passive presentations, the program integrates 20–30 minutes of facilitated engagement throughout the session not tacked on at the end keeping participants active and ensuring the material is immediately applicable to real classroom situations.
Participants will gain practical tools to:
• Recognize early warning signs of escalating behavior in young children
• Respond to challenging situations calmly and effectively
• Maintain classroom structure and authority
• Set clear, consistent boundaries that support stability
• Understand how stress responses influence both adult and child behavior
• Use developmentally appropriate de-escalation strategies

Session Format
