CVPSD Offers Personal Safety Lecture and Q&A Session at RWJ in Hamilton, NJ

Hamilton, NJ – The Center for Violence Prevention and Self Defense (CVPSD) is excited to announce a dynamic and empowering lecture and Q&A session focused on practical strategies to enhance personal safety and confidence.


This event will take place on Monday, December 9th, from 10:00 AM to 11:30AM, at RWJ Hamilton Fitness & Wellness Center, 3100 Quakerbridge Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.

CVPSD Offers Personal Safety Lecture and Q&A Session at RWJ in Hamilton, NJ

This 1.5-hour session is designed for individuals of all backgrounds who want to proactively protect themselves and others. Participants will learn critical skills and strategies, including:

  • Developing and applying situational awareness to navigate real-world challenges.

  • Recognizing and responding effectively to potential threats.

  • Managing fear and stress during high-pressure situations.

  • Setting and reinforcing healthy boundaries.

  • Identifying pre-incident and pre-attack indicators to prevent escalation.

  • Utilizing verbal de-escalation techniques and protective body language.


The session also includes live demonstrations and an open Q&A to ensure participants leave equipped with practical, actionable tools to develop a survival mindset and maintain safety in a variety of situations.
