Welcome to the Ambush Attack Training Series
An ambush is one of the most dangerous threats in personal safety because it exploits the element of surprise, leaving victims with minimal time to react. Brought to you by the Center for Violence Prevention and Self Defense, this series is dedicated to closing that gap, providing the strategies and mental tools needed to detect, deter, and survive sudden violence.

This comprehensive collection covers a wide range of critical scenarios, from understanding the subtle warning signs of a "lean-in" approach to executing home defense strategies and tactical responses for "getting off the X."
By exploring concepts like the reactionary gap and counter-ambush planning, you will learn how to shift from a position of vulnerability to one of control. Explore the articles below to equip yourself with the knowledge necessary to turn the tables when violence strikes unexpectedly.
