FREEHOLD, NJ — The Center for Violence Prevention and Self-Defense (CVPSD), a leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to violence prevention education and safety training, is proud to announce it has received approval from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

With the assignment of CAGE Code 11Q10, CVPSD is now fully vetted and authorized to provide its specialized training services directly to Federal government agencies and the Department of Defense.
The Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code is a unique identifier assigned by the DLA to suppliers who have met the rigorous standards required to do business with the U.S. Federal Government. This approval signifies that CVPSD has satisfied all necessary procurement readiness requirements, streamlining the purchasing process for federal movement agencies seeking evidence-based safety and defense training.
"Receiving our DLA approval and CAGE code is a significant milestone for our organization," said William DeMuth, Director of Training at CVPSD. "It validates the quality and reliability of our curriculum and allows us to expand our mission of empowerment and safety to the federal employees who serve our nation. Agencies can now access our training with the confidence that we meet the strict compliance and operational standards of the federal marketplace."
Streamlining Access to Critical Safety Training Federal agencies can now utilize CAGE Code 11Q10 to rapidly procure CVPSD’s comprehensive suite of safety programs. Unlike traditional self defense or generic safety courses, CVPSD utilizes a "science-over-style" methodology, incorporating evidence-based strategies such as ConflictIQ™ program and layered safety skills.
Available Training Services Include:
ConflictIQ™ & De-escalation: Advanced verbal and non-verbal strategies to diffuse hostility and resolve conflict before it turns physical.
Situational Awareness & Threat Assessment: Training on "Left of Bang" principles to identify pre-attack indicators and environmental threats.
Workforce Violence Prevention: Customized protocols for high-stakes environments, including healthcare, social services, and field operations.
Integrated Physical Self-Defense: Practical, trauma-informed physical techniques designed for individuals of all ages and abilities, focusing on gross-motor movements that function under high stress.
This federal authorization builds upon CVPSD’s existing credentials, which include status as a United Nations Global Marketplace Authorized Supplier and SafeSport™ certification.
