The Center for Violence Prevention and Self Defense (CVPSD), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to education and empowerment, has announced a new technology donation program accepting HP LaserJet printers and computers.
These donations directly support the charity’s educational outreach and training initiatives that help individuals and communities learn how to prevent violence and protect themselves.

Technology Powering Education and Change
Modern education relies heavily on technology — from creating printed materials for workshops to delivering online training. Each donated HP Laser printer and computer helps CVPSD expand its reach and deliver high-quality, accessible educational programs, to community organizations, and individuals across the World.
“Every HP Laser printer or computer that’s donated helps us reach more people with life-saving education,” said Shawn Lebrock, Communications Coordinator at CVPSD. “With the right tools, we can create more materials, offer more online training sessions, and ultimately empower more individuals to protect themselves and their communities.”
How Donations OF HP Printers Can Help
Donated HP LaserJet printers and computers are used to:
Produce educational and training materials for workshops, seminars, and youth programs.
Support online learning platforms for virtual self-defense and violence prevention courses.
Equip outreach teams with the technology needed to communicate, teach, and connect with at-risk communities.
Reduce operational costs, allowing more funds to be directed toward direct program delivery.
A Sustainable Way to Support a Cause
Beyond the educational impact, the donation program promotes environmental responsibility by reusing or refurbishing gently used devices. Equipment that cannot be repaired is recycled responsibly, ensuring minimal environmental waste.
Where to Donate HP Printers
CVPSD accepts donations of:
HP LaserJet printers (working or repairable)
Desktop and laptop computers
Monitors, keyboards, and accessories
All donations are tax-deductible, and donors receive an official receipt for their contribution.
